Indian Interior Minister in his speech today accused BJP and RSS of conducting training camps and promoting "Hindu Terrorism". Hindustan Times and The Hindu, two of India's largest publications, are not using that term, or trying to conceal it, by using the term "Safron Terrorism", "Hindu extremism" or replacing it with "recruiting of Hindu militants". The Interior Minister changed his statement, after coming out from the meeting, replacing it with "safroon terrorism". He also didn't use the term "Muslims" in his speech, concealing the identity by using "minority", while highlighting injustice against them.
As a student of media and communications this is a an interesting observation. The situation, for good or worst, is very different in Pakistan, in the media, as well as at the level of officials.
